Jean-Bernard has over 20 years of experience as a management consultant. The variety of his assignments has allowed him to develop a deep knowledge of several industries (oil, chemicals, dairy products, aeronautical manufacturing, steel, glass, tobacco, leather goods, cosmetics, retail, …) as well as of several functional domains (logistics and supply chain, purchasing, human resources, IT, sales, manufacturing, …).
Jean-Bernard started his career in 1994 in Boston with Benchmarking Partners, an ERP consulting firm, with a focus on supply chain. His clients were among others Avon, Staples, Wal-Mart, Reynolds Metals and Praxair.
In 1998, Jean-Bernard joins Ericsson in Brussels as application specialist (SAP). In the course of an internal reorganisation, he creates and manages a services purchasing department (direct purchasing), then becomes responsible for the integration of new processes in SAP for a newly created shared services centre.
In 2001, he joins PwCConsulting (the consulting branch of PwC, bought by IBM in 2003) where is works on numerous national and international assignments as project manager, business unit manager, business development manager, change manager, team lead or consultant (data management, testing, process analysis, financial analysis, …). Among his clients are Total, British American Tobacco, Sonaca, Arla Foods, Nestlé, Arcelor, Glaverbel, Estée Lauder, Delvaux, Belgian Sky Shops, …
Today, Jean-Bernard acts as Senior Advisor for Brugmann Conseil.
