Philippe has been a finance professional in corporates for over 30 years. He has a wide and diversified experience:10 years in the FMCG and Industry,10 years in IT and 13 years in real estate. Philippe began his career at the end of 1987 in the bank, which he quickly left in April 1989 to join the Nestlé Group in Belgium where he held four positions: Assistant Treasurer, Audit Manager where he covered 57 very varied and operational subjects. He is then logistics manager for fresh products where he will carry out the reinvestment and rationalization plan for the distribution centre. He was then appointed head of SAP’s implementation project. He left Nestlé in October 1997 to join the Econocom Group, the European leader in IT, as Finance & Administration Director in the “Products and Solutions” business in Belgium. He worked on the reporting to increase its reliability and shorten the deadlines, on the framework of an adequate budget monitoring process,as well as on a rigorouscost-to-cost approach. Not to mention the BFR. He has also set up management and operational indicators. His responsibilities also included the sales administration. He then worked on the optimal operational and administrative management of outsourced logistics. Having IT in its perimeter, he has twice implemented a new ERP and has also implemented electronic invoicing. He has also carried out numerous acquisitions and integrations of small IT entities. In 2002 he expanded his role to the “Products and Solutions” business across the various countries in which Econocom was present. For three years, he worked part-time between Paris and Brussels. In early 2006, he became CFO Benelux for 2 of the 3 Econocom Group activities: “Products and Solutions” and “Managed Services” in Belgium where he held the same responsibilities on a larger scale. Philippe left Econocom at the end of 2007 to join the Immobel Group as CFO, the oldest Belgian listed company active in real estate development. He will remain there for 8 years during which he will work on the implementation of a new strategic plan and its follow-up as well as the management process, management tools and dashboards. He will make sure to optimize the balance sheet structure and the organization of the Group. It has completely overhauled accounting and IT outsourcing, with a comprehensive review of processes and tools (digitization and electronic management of document flows). Philippe has worked to increase and diversify financing for a total of more than one billion euros with a.o. bond issues. He has also acquired and sold many companies, with due diligence, valuation and structuring. And worked on the proposed merger with the last shareholder. It has also acquired in this environment all aspects of the management of a listed entity, with adequate relations with shareholders, control authorities, analysts and investors. After leaving Immobel at the end of 2015 and acting as interim manager at Mitiska REIM to coordinate the due diligence of the acquisition of 18 commercial parks in Romania, he joined the Banimmo listed group at the beginning of 2017 as CFO, company also active in real estate development. He found a company in great difficulty and with the new CEO they restructured it and saved it from bankruptcy in 2 years, via a plan to refocus on a business and a country, coupled with massive deleveraging and a sharp reduction in costs. As a result, they worked to resell it as a result of the historical shareholder’s desire to get out of it. They will find a new shareholder and leave the company in mid 2019 mission accomplished. Since 2016, Philippe is also Real Estate Advisor of the alternative financing platform, approved by the control authorities (FSMA).
